Andrew was recommended to me and my late husband in 2002. Each year Andrew and S2I have provided valuable advice. At the time, we were a young couple, starting on the property market and were keen for somebody to direct us. Over the years, Andrew has advised us when the mortgage was due for renewal and put in place our life insurance policy. Unfortunately, my husband died very suddenly in November 2008 aged 30, leaving me and our two beautiful boys, aged 3 and 1.  Thankfully, Andrew had advised us to have a mortgage protection policy and a life insurance policy. I will be eternally grateful for the guidance that we received. Our mortgage has been paid in full and the life insurance pays me a monthly income of over £2000.
It was a huge relief to know that the mortgage would be paid as I could not have afforded to pay the mortgage on my salary alone and would have been forced to move from our family home.  I can now say in our home, continue to work part-time and send the boys to nursery, which they both enjoy. The life insurance policy was something that I had never paid any attention to. I remember thinking when Andrew was suggesting it that it was £35 per month and surely we could save that as we would not need a policy like it for many years. Unfortunately, nobody knows what is round the corner and I am so glad that we went with Andrew’s recommendation. I have this extra income each month which I will now receive for the next 21 years, and it is indexed-linked. This means I can save for the boy’s future and not have to worry about money.  A huge relief, when also having to deal with bereavement.
Andrew and S2I have been continuous support since my husband passed away. I have never had a finance-head as I like to call it, and S2I have helped me to understand what was happening with the claims.  I am now, rather unfortunately, in a healthy financial situation and Andrew is currently helping me to invest this money for the future, in the form of an additional pension, income protection plan and savings.
I have many friends who say that they would be in a very difficult financial situation if their partner passed away.  My response it to recommend S2I.
